Michael O’Rourke has worked in the film & television industries as a screen editor/producer for many decades. He currently freelances with a number of high profile Sydney post houses as well as working directly with small agencies and independent producer/directors where he often oversees the entire process including directly liasing with colourists, motion designers and audio post.
He has experience across the full gamut of media production, from long-form TV documentaries/lifestyle, to both animated and live-action TV series and tele-movies, to medium form digital content such as case studies/testimonials, to short form TVCs, idents, music videos and promos.
He is competent with both AVID, DaVinci Resolve and the Adobe Creative Suite, and has a fully equipped broadcast edit suite at his Sydney based home. He is also experienced with a wide range of production video cameras, sound equipment and lighting set-ups.
