Hi, I’m Dan Jones, a freelance Director of Photography and Cinematographer based on the Gold Coast, working across commercial, branded and documentary projects.

My work is grounded in real locations, often outdoors or in environments that require a flexible and considered approach to lighting and production. I focus on creating natural, cinematic imagery that feels authentic to the subject and the story being told.

I collaborate with brands, agencies and production teams, either as a freelance DP or as part of a broader production through my company, Wild Track Media. This allows me to support projects at different levels, from joining an existing crew to delivering end-to-end content.

I’m known for a calm, reliable approach on set and the ability to adapt to changing conditions while maintaining a strong and consistent visual outcome.
