Cristobal is a Chilean Australian, Sydney-Based filmmaker, writer and video editor. Growing up across different suburbs and communities in Chile and Australia has guided him towards telling cultural and diverse stories.

He has collaborated with companies to develop short documentary / commercial work for organisations such as Powerhouse Museum, Maximus International, Sydney Opera House, and Arts and Cultural Exchange (ACE).

He now works across narrative and documentary stories. Cristobal's latest co-directed short film THE POOL (alongside fellow co-director / producer Erica Long) has premiered at the SHORT SHORTS Film Festival & Asia 2023 in Japan. It has also screened at LA SHORTS International Film Festival 2023 and RHODES ISLAND International Film Festival.

He is now currently working on multiple episodes as a director / editor on the mini-documentary series OUT OF BOUNDS for Hazen Agency.
