Why Your Profile Wasn’t Approved: Here’s What You Need to Know
If you’ve recently signed up for our platform but received an email saying your profile wasn’t approved, don’t worry—you’re not alone. We’re here to help explain why this might have happened and how you can improve your profile for future approval.
Here are the most common reasons why profiles might not be approved:
• Limited or Unclear Experience
We often see profiles that don’t provide enough detail about your background or experience. To make your profile stand out, be sure to include a clear, detailed description of your services and past projects. This helps clients understand what you bring to the table.
• Work Quality Doesn’t Meet Our Platform Standards
We aim to showcase the best talent on our platform. If the quality of your work isn’t yet at the level we’re looking for, we recommend uploading stronger examples that really highlight your skills and expertise.
• Offering a Niche Service We Don’t Currently Support
As a growing platform, we’re actively expanding the range of creative services and skills we offer. If your service is currently outside of our focus, we may not be able to approve your profile just yet. However, we are continually adding new offerings, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated when we’re ready to include your specialty!
• Incomplete Profile
The most common reason for a profile being declined is that it’s incomplete. To increase your chances of approval, make sure your profile is fully filled out with as much information as possible.
• What Classifies as a "Creative"?
Yes, the term "creative professional" can be broad and a bit ambiguous. However, what our platform focuses on is connecting commercial creative professionals with brands, businesses, and individuals. While there are plenty of other platforms that are great for showcasing your art, our platform is designed to connect creatives with commercial opportunities. If your work is primarily art-based or not geared toward commercial clients, it may not align with the type of creative professional we’re looking for right now.
How to Improve Your Profile and Get Approved
To boost your chances of getting approved, here’s what you can do:
• Provide a Clear, Compelling Description
Your profile description should clearly explain what services you offer and highlight your experience. The more detailed and compelling your description, the better.
• Upload At Least 6 High-Quality Images and 1 Completed Project
Show off your work with high-quality images that demonstrate your skills. Including at least one completed project can show potential clients what you’re capable of.
• Select Relevant Skills, Location, and Service Categories
Be sure to choose the right skills and categories that best match what you offer. Also, make sure your location is accurate so you can connect with the right clients.
We’re committed to maintaining a high standard on our platform, which is why all profiles must meet our quality and community guidelines. This helps ensure that only professional, relevant, and well-presented creatives are featured.
