Matt Horspool is an Australian adventure photographer, filmmaker and educator based in Sydney, known for his powerful storytelling across land, sea and air. Operating under Etchd Photography, Matt works as a solo creative and content producer specialising in outdoor, travel, and environmental narratives — capturing moments that blend authenticity, emotion, and scale.
Matt's imagery and films have been featured across global campaigns, editorial publications, and major tourism initiatives. Matt’s work has taken him to all seven continents — from guiding photography expeditions in Antarctica and the Arctic to shooting commercial projects across Australia and beyond.
In addition to this, Matt co-owns Vagary Studio with Brisbane-based creative Harrison Candlin. Together they produce high-end stills and motion campaigns for global outdoor brands and tourism boards, often in remote locations.
